My name is Rob and I first started my DJ career in 1995 at the age of twelve knowing I wanted to be a full time DJ. The first thing I decided on was my disco name. Strobe was very different at that time and I wanted to choose a name which was not my own, Roberts Disco for example, but a name to carry on for many years to come – Strobe Disco Roadshow was the choice.
We started out entertaining at kid’s parties & school discos and over time developed our skills & experience in the events industry. By 1999, we were becoming popular and our work moved onwards to adult birthday parties, festive events & eventually weddings. In 2003, we found our passion for weddings and have focussed on enriching our wedding DJ service ever since.
Staring the DJ journey in 1995 has put a great deal of experience in our hands on a large range of event types. We are also highly familiar with how weddings run and what the DJ can do to enrich this experience, we have been offering our wedding DJ service since 2003, perfecting our craft and learning the wedding industry inside out.
In the present day, I have now expanded out and run a team of five professional Dj’s, all working to the high standards and qualities I have learned over the years. We have the pleasure of working in some stunning venues in the area, as well as private bespoke home weddings and even long distance weddings. We are also the proud suppliers of the stunning Orton Hall Hotel, Haycock Hotel & Wadenhoe House for all special events and occasions.
